How To Attract More Brides To Your Beauty Salon

23 May 2022 | 0 comments | Posted by Alison Pearson in Beauty Basics

Attract brides to your beauty parlour

If you own a beauty salon or plan on opening one and want to attract brides who are looking for beauty services for their special day, here is how you can expand your business and gain new customers from your target audience.

Choose what you will specialise in

You can offer a variety of different services in your beauty salon. However, it's always a better idea to specialise in one or maybe two specific services at first and perfect them. For instance, you can choose to do hair for brides or maybe get their nails done specifically for their special day.

This way, you can show your expertise and full potential to the clients who want to rely on someone professional for one task instead of someone with a medium level of expertise in six different jobs. Learn how to thrive in one area and then slowly work towards expanding your expertise once you have perfected the previous ones.

Upgrade your social media game

Your social media outreach does a lot for your business. It's the most crucial factor in attracting more customers in general. Social media is also great for when you want to attract a certain target audience. In this case, your target audience consists of brides.

That means that your social media approach needs to be customised around your target audience. Think about what strategies you can implement in your marketing via social media that will specifically capture the attention of brides. Maybe you can use Instagram to announce fun giveaways where the winner would get a free appointment for hairstyling for their wedding day.

You can reach out to beauty influencers and collaborate with them. These are just some of the ideas. Whatever you choose to do, pick a social media platform where you can have a wide outreach to your audience and make sure you are consistently active on that platform.

Have an open house for bridal-specific services

People tend to choose a salon where they know they can rely on the employees to deliver what they promise. So, they need to see for themselves how well you do your job before they choose if they will stick around or not.

Is there a better way to introduce someone to your expertise and style than offering open house events?

This is the idea. You host an event for open house services specifically for brides. You can include hairstyling, nail services, makeup, or whatever services that you offer at that point. Make sure to use your social media so that everyone in your area gets to know about the event.

You can offer services for free that day and have the brides get the first taste of your work and style. You can offer them some fruity cocktails and some snacks and make a whole event out of it. If people end up loving your work, they are more likely to come back and book an appointment.

Network with other wedding specialists

Networking is a very important aspect of any business. Firstly, by networking and meeting new people in your field, you learn more about your expertise. You get to see different perspectives and approaches to your services, and you'll most likely feel inspired to try and learn something new.

Secondly, meeting new people in your field of work can guarantee some amazing partnership offers in the future and collaborating with other specialists can lead new customers your way.

Expand your services

Once you feel comfortable and ready, you can start expanding your services and learning new things. Your regular customers will start coming back for new services, and they will most likely recommend your salon to their friends who might be looking for exactly what you're offering.

For example, if you offer makeup services, you can take an additional course and learn how to do professional eyelash extensions. That way, a bride doing her makeup can get both her makeup and eyelashes did at your salon instead of going to multiple places in one day.

Offer coupons

Lastly, you can offer amazing deals to get more customers to gain interest in your salon. For instance, you can give your customers coupons that they can give their friends who are interested in the services that you offer.

That way, whenever you give a coupon, a customer is more likely to bring a new customer, and they can bring someone new, and so on. You can also give your regular customers coupons whenever they bring someone new to the salon.

Conclusion

In conclusion, growing your business and attracting more brides to your salon is all about social media marketing, expanding your services, networking with the right people, and meeting your customers halfway by offering them amazing deals they will not be able to resist or say no to.
