It ultimately depends on you and your team that how you tackle all the obstacles and break out from the escape room.

1. Ask the right questions

The main factor that can help you solve the puzzles of escape rooms is to ask the right questions? If the hunt follows the right question, you will find the correct answers, but if it is the other way around, then you will be stuck. If the questions are wrong, the whole process will be wrong, which will lead you to wrong answers and failed attempts to solve the mystery.

2. Solve the problem

The problem-solving abilities get a boost because the players have to work a lot on their thought process to solve those mysteries or puzzles through the help of the riddles. 4. The key is teamwork

5. Use your mind

Another critical element of playing the escape room game and getting success in it is looking for small details and precision for finding the clues ideally. The players have to use their minds shapely, smartly and fast to solve the difficult mysteries. While missing out on a simple clue can take the players many steps backwards in the game. It will result in sharp thinking in many other real-life scenarios in which anyone can get stuck.

6. Use your memory

One of the critical factors of the escape room game is that the players have to remember every clue they have found in the whole period. Memory plays a massive role in escape room games as the players have to remember all the clues that they have got in the game and use them to break out from the room. The person has to be sharp to solve the puzzles, and the game also boasts the memory of a person.

7. Examine everything

One of the beauties of an escape room is that the clues can be hidden anywhere, and the best you can do is examine everything to find the clues. Divide the work into your team, and in this way, it will be a lot easier to find the clues. The clues can be hidden in some props or in simple things where you least expect to be it.

8. Time run

While most of the escape room games are of 60 minutes, some go up to 90 minutes. You have to keep a strict focus on time because you'll not get any extra to solve the mystery if the time runs out. This is also one of the challenges of the escape room game that you have to solve the puzzles within the given time.

9. Listen to your teammates

As escape room mysteries can't be solved by a person alone, you have to work in a team, and you must give attention to your teammates. It would help if you listened to their suggestions, ideas, clues, etc. The more you involve yourself with your team, the more likely you will solve the mysteries quickly.

10. Listen to the narrator

Getting the storyline or plot of the escape room is the key to your success. So, whenever the narrator tells the story and about some characters, you need to listen to it closely.

Knowing more about the story and the characters will let you get the clues quickly. Some escape rooms require you to look at the puzzles and problematic situations from the character's viewpoint to solve them. And, you can only fit correctly in the character's shoes if you know about the story and the character.

11. Follow the rules

Sometimes the players make mistakes by not following the rules of the escape room. They think that the rules are made to confuse them and make them unsuccessful in breaking out from the escape room.

While this is never the case, the rules are always made to help and support the players and sometimes keep the fragile things in the escape room in good condition. If you don't follow the rules, you are on the way to harm the escape room, and it takes you far away from successfully solving the mystery.
