Snacks That South African Travellers & Expats Miss The Most
11 February 2019 | 0 comments | Posted by Che Kohler in Masterchefs
South African's are a patriotic bunch but only really realise it once they leave the country, this could be on holiday, a business trip or immigrating for opportunities or promise of a better life somewhere in the world.
It is only after we leave our borders that we realise how much we love our country and the creature comforts we grew up with, especially our homegrown snacks and treats.
We all know local is lekker for a reason, so we've put together the South African snack survival guide.
This checklist is ideal for South African's who are missing home and can't remember those snacks they fell in love with and need a refresher course.
It can also be used when planning to pack for an overseas trip or when you need to smuggle a few snacks across the border to comfort friends and family based overseas.
