Large scale companies are all in the process of modernisation operations and the capital to go with it. While the startup scene in Cape Town has been a leader in the country and has also caught on in cities like Johannesburg and Durban.

But they're not the only ones moving into the digital space as small businesses also make their way and transition into using the technologies available to them as having your website, and online advertising becomes a more affordable method of running your business.

South Africa also provides a unique opportunity for foreign companies looking to leverage the labour arbitrage in the country as they can get an affordable rate for highly skilled tech staff.
